Chris Matthewman makes poetic theatre.

A spoken-word artist, storyteller and songwriter, he is a former Bard of Northampton, a two-time winner of the Feast of Fools Great Lying Competition, and a previous holder of the world record for travelling from Land’s End to John O’Groats by local and regional bus services.

In another significant trek, between March and May 2027, he is visiting 92 football clubs, doing 92 shows and raising £92,000 for a dementia charity.

His dog will miss him.
